Does FolioHire take a cut of my bookings?+
Not during beta. Customers arrange payment directly with you after a request is accepted. When we eventually introduce a platform fee, it will be capped, transparent, and applied only to new bookings sourced through FolioHire.
Do I have to be exclusive to FolioHire?+
No. Keep your own site, your Instagram, your agency relationships. FolioHire is just another channel — one designed to send you better-qualified leads.
Who reviews applications?+
A small team that looks at your existing portfolio. We are not gatekeeping by follower count or career stage — we are looking for a coherent body of work and a clear style.
How are clients matched to me?+
Clients discover photographers through city + category browse, by reference-image style search, and by direct profile links. You appear when your availability, location, and portfolio fit the brief.
What if a client is a no-show or unprofessional?+
Decline or cancel without penalty. Repeated reports against a customer remove them from the platform. We protect supply.
Can I bring my existing clients onto FolioHire?+
Yes — point them at your profile link. Bookings from clients you brought in are not subject to any future platform fee.

After you submit, we'll email instructions for verifying that you control the Instagram account listed below. Approved photographers get access to the dashboard to build out their profile.
